I used to be afraid of the dark as a little boy. Now I crave it! There is solitude in darkness. Beauty as well! For darkness is ubiquitous. Everywhere! Only to be broken by beauty. Look at the universe. Pervasively black, only to be broken up by the beauty of light.

How can life accept "light" without first embracing "darkness" ?
