Intelligence, Stairs, Knowledge, and Space / Time Travel.

Or, "How to evolve ones own head".

Intelligence. What is it really? Arr, that is the question isn’t it. Everybody, well most of us, wish to be more intelligent.

To become more intelligent is an easy task that any person can perform. A bit like “Product Procurement” from a business perspective. If a business wishes to make lots of money then they need to have a product to sell to a customer. Simple right. A business won’t get rich without having a vehicle to carry it on that path. Without the vehicle the business is just another lonely traveller on the path.

So, how does this relate to intelligence. Well. A person cannot suddenly become more intelligent. That is highly unlikely or next to impossible. They have to work at it. Slowly but surely. You see, knowledge is like a staircase. And everybody knows that you have to be able to walk before you can run.

When a baby begins to walk it takes a few simple steps at first. Falls over and cries. People, when embarking on the task of gaining a better education, follow a similar process. They take a few simple steps first, fall down, realise that the process is hard, and then cry because they cant do it. Think of it like this. A person enters an educational institution, realises that its hard work, and gives up.

To become intelligent one has to at first, take small steps. Because that is how intelligence works. The process is very much similar to a staircase. Only in this case the stairs are all different sizes. To become intelligent, you have to climb the stairs. There is no other way.

Maybe !!!

When embarking on this process, a person will find that their knowledge does not increase on an exponential curve. Their knowledge grows in leaps and bounds. These are the stairs, and the entire process of learning is the staircase. However, each stair, is a different height and length. Hence the leaps and bounds analogy.

Upon climbing each step, a person has, in essence, raised their knowledge. At the beginning of the climb, the person can only see the way up. Until they have climbed a few stairs. Then they can see a bit of the view. So they climb a few more stairs, up and up and up. And then they can see further. And, they can also see back down the staircase.

Okay. So lets assume that a person is a fairway up the staircase. And they decide to look down. What do they see? “Well, they see stairs” you say. Yes, that is true. But, what do they see if they truly look. And by that I mean stepping forward just enough so that they can see clearly up and down the staircase. What do they see?

If they have learnt enough by this stage they will begin to see a pattern. A pattern in the staircase it self. And that pattern is, that the stairs in the staircase are all different sizes and all different lengths. Some people, see this pattern early on in their climb. Others see it much later. And still, others don’t ever see it at all.

When the person gets to this stage in their climb, and has seen the pattern, they notice that they can now jump down the stairs and back up again. Landing on whatever stair they choose. However many times they choose. At this stage though, they still cant go above the stair they finally reached. They still have more climbing to do. So, off they go. Climbing once again. But now, when they get to a stair, they can jump back down to a similar stair and then back up again to continue on their climb.

At some specific point on their climbing journey, they have to stop. They have to stop because they have reached the “Special Stair”. Upon climbing up on to this special stair, they realise something. Something monumental!

This stair is a very special stair indeed. Because upon reaching this stair they realise that they can now jump to any stair on the staircase. Both up, and down. It is here, at this stair, that they can see the full pattern that the staircase uses. And, they can also see the patterns of similar stairs themselves. And they realise that they can now jump up and down the staircase to different stairs with similar patterns.

Much like the theory of Space / Time Travel. They have basically reached a “Worm Hole” in their education. Because, by jumping to any stair on the staircase, they are basically performing the same process as a space / time traveller would on their journey. Jumping to any point in space and or time. And to learn something new, our staircase climber, can jump there in an instant. Because they now understand how the staircase was built.

Sometimes, new stair climbers, don’t climb all the stairs themselves, but still reach the special stair. On these peoples journeys, they have met an old stair climber. An old stair climber who has climbed to the special stair themselves. This old stair climber, offers the new stair climber a lift, but has certain stops to make on the way. These stops, the old climber says to the new climber, are so that they will understand the special stair when they get there. For if they don’t stop at these stairs, the new climber will not learn to jump, and will probably fall all the way back down the stairs. Bumping bumping bumping all the way down to the bottom. When the old climber, gets the new climber to the special stair, the old climber shows the new climber, the secret to jumping up and down the staircase. For it is written on the “Special Stair”, and, on every stair itself.

“And what are the words that are written on each and every stair” you ask?
